About Dr. Mehaidat A career built at the intersection of mind, pain, and recovery.
"Pain is not merely a physical event. It is a story the mind tells — and with the right guidance, that story can change." — Dr. Mohammed Mehaidat

Dr. Mohammed Mehaidat is a clinical psychologist with more than three decades of experience in pain psychology, rehabilitation, and mental health. Trained in Egypt, he returned to Jordan where he began a clinical career marked by a commitment to understanding the psychological dimensions of physical suffering.

Early in his career, Dr. Mehaidat joined the Royal Medical Services at Al Hussein Medical City, one of Jordan's foremost medical institutions, where he developed his clinical practice within a multidisciplinary care environment. He later brought that expertise to humanitarian medicine through his work with the Jordan Red Crescent.

Drawn to the specialized intersection of physical rehabilitation and psychological recovery, Dr. Mehaidat spent over five years at the Sultan Bin Abdulaziz Humanitarian City in Saudi Arabia — a leading international rehabilitation center — where he worked with patients navigating long-term recovery from injury, illness, and chronic pain.

Today, Dr. Mehaidat continues his work in Jordan, where he writes and publishes in both Arabic and English on the psychology of pain, the mental health of injured athletes, and the broader landscape of emotional wellbeing.
